Billy
Jonas'
"Bangin and Sangin"

Sunday,
Sept. 21, 2008 @ 2:00 pm
This is one of Theatreworks'
most popular performers! Each year
he is quickly “sold out” because of
his music, exuberance and message
that reaches everyone in his young
audiences. Recycling and protecting
our environment is the focus of this
upbeat musical program. Billy’s songs
of environmental awareness and stewardship
stretch imaginations, involves children
with one another and their surroundings,
and speaks to the heart and souls
of all who attend. His message to
reduce, reuse, recycle and to care
is integrated into original songs,
stories, and improvisations with voice,
guitar, and “industrial re-percussion”
instruments made from found, foraged,
and recycled objects.

| Puss
and Boots

Sunday,
Jan. 25, 2009 @ 2:00 pm
Bits 'N Pieces Puppet Theatre presents
their own musical
adaptation of The Master Cat, one
of the fairy tales collected by
French storyteller Charles Perrault
in The Mother Goose Tales in 1697.
Puss in Boots plots to change young
Nat the Miller's son from a paw-per
to an aristo-cat. The magical talking
cat learns honesty is the best policy
and good deeds are rewarded, as
he helps Nat rescue the kidnapped
Princess Penny Candy from a wicked
ogre -- and they all are purr-fectly
happy ever after.
